These Terms & Conditions apply to the use of www.fayrekehoe.com and purchases made through the online shop. Please read them alongside the Delivery & Shipping Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy. They do not affect your statutory consumer rights.

1. About This Website and Shop

This website is operated by Fayre Kehoe and hosts the online shop Have Courage & Bee Kind Store for Have Courage & Bee Kind Press, an independent publishing business based in the United Kingdom.

The shop currently offers three signed editions of Death & Shadow, Book I of Starbound: A Sylvaeren Origins Story: an Author Edition paperback, an Author Edition hardback, and a Special Edition hardback.

2. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the writing, text, branding, graphics and other original content on this website belong to Fayre Kehoe or are used with permission from their respective rights holders. Artwork and illustrations may be protected by the rights of their creators.

You may browse, share links and use content in ways permitted by law. Please do not reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit website content without the relevant rights holder's permission.

3. Using This Website

Please use the website lawfully and do not attempt to interfere with its operation, access restricted systems without permission, or introduce malicious software.

I aim to keep information accurate and the website available, but occasional errors, maintenance or interruptions may occur. This does not limit any rights you have in connection with a purchase.

4. Products, Signed Copies and Personalisation

Product descriptions explain the features of each edition. Photographs are intended to represent the books accurately, although minor differences in printed colour or finish can occur. This does not affect your rights if a book is faulty, damaged or not as described.

Every book purchased from my author shop is hand-signed. If you leave the personalisation field blank, you will receive an author-signed copy without a name-specific inscription. If you enter a name, I will personalise your copy using the spelling provided. Please check the details carefully before ordering and contact me promptly if you notice a mistake.

5. Prices, Payment and Orders

Prices are displayed in pounds sterling (GBP). Applicable delivery charges will be shown before you complete payment.
Payment is made using the secure payment options available at checkout.
Prices and offers may change for future purchases. Any agreed price for an existing order will not be increased afterwards.
The Special Edition may be offered at a time-limited introductory price, as stated on its product listing.
Once you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. Please check the details and contact me promptly if something is incorrect.

If I cannot fulfil an order because of a genuine pricing or listing error, unavailable stock or another exceptional issue, I will contact you to explain the problem. Where an order cannot be fulfilled, any payment taken for the cancelled item will be refunded.

6. Pre-Orders, Delivery and International Shipping

Books ordered from my author shop may be produced in small batches and personally signed before dispatch. Please check the estimated production and delivery times on the relevant product listing before ordering.

For details about pre-order timescales, delivery destinations, postage costs, international customs and tracking, please read the Delivery & Shipping Policy. Any applicable consumer rights concerning delayed or undelivered goods remain unaffected.

7. Cancellations, Returns and Refunds

UK orders without name-specific personalisation: You can normally cancel before dispatch or notify me within 14 days of receiving the book that you wish to cancel. You then have a further 14 days to send it back. Eligible refunds include the original standard delivery charge, where required by law. Customers normally pay return postage for a change-of-mind return.
Name-personalised books: A book inscribed with a specific name cannot normally be returned simply because you have changed your mind. This exception does not affect your rights if the book is faulty, damaged or not as described.
USA and Canada: I do not offer additional voluntary change-of-mind returns for international orders, but any cancellation or refund rights required by applicable law remain unaffected.
Faulty, damaged or misdescribed books: Please contact me so I can arrange an appropriate remedy in accordance with your legal rights.

8. External Websites

This website may link to other websites, including book retailers or social media platforms. Their content, availability and privacy practices are outside my control. Please read their terms where appropriate.

9. Personal Data and Cookies

Personal data submitted through the website and online shop is handled as explained in the website's Privacy Policy. Information about essential and optional cookies is provided in the Cookie Policy.

10. Your Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including rights relating to faulty goods, goods not as described, or liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

11. Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms & Conditions as the shop develops. Any changes will apply to future use and purchases, and will not retrospectively remove rights or alter terms already agreed for existing orders.
